Welcome to Nikhar (निखार) Learning ("Nikhar", "we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our website and web application (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the Service.
1. About the Service
Nikhar is an online self-study platform for government examination preparation in India, offering study lessons, practice questions, mock tests, career "finishing school" modules and introductory language courses. Content is provided for educational purposes only.
2. Paid Access
- Nikhar Pro is sold as four separate plans, side by side — the original Lifetime plan, and three Language editions (Hindi, Bengali, Assamese). Buying any one of them unlocks the full app: all lessons, mock tests, Finishing School modules and the AI Mentor.
- Lifetime plan — ₹2000, one-time payment. Unlocks every language, with no yearly renewal, ever. This is the original plan Nikhar Pro launched with, and it continues to be sold on the same terms to new customers as it always was — nothing about it has changed or been withdrawn.
- Language editions — ₹999 each, for a 1-year access period from the date of payment. You pick one language; it unlocks that language plus English throughout the app. These are newer, separate plans introduced alongside the Lifetime plan, not a replacement for it.
- Payment for any plan is collected through our payment partner (Razorpay), and Pro is activated automatically the moment payment succeeds.
- None of these plans are subscriptions. There is no auto-debit and no recurring charge on any of them — nothing is billed to you again automatically. A Language edition's continued access after its year ends requires a fresh, deliberate ₹999 payment; the Lifetime plan has no such renewal at all.
- There is no free tier. A short first-lesson preview is available before purchase so you can see the app before paying.
- If you switch devices or clear your browser, you can restore access using the Razorpay Payment ID from your payment confirmation email or SMS. Restoring only revives whatever time is genuinely left on that specific payment — it does not grant a fresh period — and is limited to 10 devices per payment.
3. Acceptable Use
- Your Pro access is for your personal, non-commercial use only and may not be shared, resold or transferred.
- You agree not to copy, reproduce, redistribute, scrape, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from any part of the Service or its content.
- We may suspend access where we reasonably believe these terms have been violated.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the Service — lessons, questions, modules, language courses, design and code — is the property of Nikhar Learning and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 (India). Unauthorised copying or commercial use is strictly prohibited.
5. Educational Disclaimer
- Nikhar is an independent study platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to SSC, UPSC, IBPS, RRB, any Public Service Commission, or any government body.
- While our content is prepared with care, we do not guarantee selection, marks, or outcomes in any examination, and content may occasionally contain errors — official notifications and syllabi always prevail.
- Career, financial-literacy and workplace guidance in our modules is general educational information, not professional, legal, financial or tax advice.
6. Availability & Changes
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update content, features, pricing or these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes to pricing will never affect access already purchased — the 1-year period you've paid for, once activated, remains yours in full.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nikhar Learning's total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts at Guwahati, Assam shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
1. Information stored on your device
The Nikhar app stores your first name, chosen exam track, lesson progress, mock-test history and settings locally on your own device (browser storage). This data does not leave your device and is not transmitted to our servers. Deleting your data from the app's Account section, or clearing your browser data, removes it permanently.
2. Payment information
Payments for Nikhar Pro are processed by our payment partner Razorpay (an RBI-authorised payment aggregator). When you pay, Razorpay collects your name, email address, phone number and payment details under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or banking credentials. We receive only your name, email and payment confirmation, which we use solely to confirm your payment, provide support, and maintain purchase records as required by law.
3. Communication
If you email us, we use your email address only to respond to you and to send your payment receipt. We do not send marketing messages without your consent, and we never sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing.
4. Cookies & analytics
The app itself does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. Our hosting provider may collect standard anonymous access logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and performance.
5. Children
The Service is intended for adult examination aspirants (18 years and above). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Your rights
You may request a copy or deletion of any personal information we hold (payment records excepted where retention is legally required) by writing to us at Nikharlearning@gmail.com. We respond within 7 working days.
Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Nature of the product
Nikhar Pro is a digital service, sold as four plans: the original ₹2000 one-time Lifetime plan (unlocks every language, no renewal ever), and three ₹999 Language editions — Hindi, Bengali or Assamese plus English — each covering a 1-year access period. Access activates automatically and instantly through our payment partner (Razorpay) the moment your payment succeeds. There are no codes to wait for and no recurring charges on any plan — a Language edition's renewal is a separate, deliberate ₹999 payment you make only if you choose to; the Lifetime plan has no renewal concept at all.
2. When a refund IS given
- Activation failed: if your payment succeeds but Pro does not activate, contact us; we will activate you manually or refund you in full.
- Duplicate payment: accidental double payments are refunded in full.
- Service inaccessible: if a verified technical fault on our side prevents you from activating or using Pro and we cannot resolve it within 72 hours, you receive a full refund.
3. When a refund is NOT given
- Once Pro has been activated on your account, that access — the full lifetime period, or the full year, depending on which plan was purchased — is considered delivered and the payment is non-refundable.
- Change of mind, non-usage of the platform, or failure in an examination are not grounds for refund.
4. Cancellation
There is nothing to cancel — every Nikhar Pro payment, on any of the four plans, has no auto-debit and no recurring billing. You are never charged again automatically after your payment. A Language edition's further year, if you want one, is a new payment you make yourself when you choose to; the Lifetime plan never requires this at all.
5. How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Razorpay within 5–7 business days of approval. To request a refund, email Nikharlearning@gmail.com with your payment reference (visible in your Razorpay payment confirmation) and the email used at payment.
